This F80 features a large discharge conveyor and disk/log clean-out system.
Once the wood passes through the splitting grid, the conveyor carries the finished firewood away from the splitting area, allowing it to be directed toward a pile, container or the next stage of a commercial firewood operation.
RABAUD's factory F80 conveyor configuration uses an approximately 4-meter (13.1') long × 1-meter (3.3') wide exit conveyor with a log-cleaning system.

At the time, obtaining a machine like this required importing it directly. RABAUD equipment now has U.S. dealer support, making communication and parts/service support substantially easier than when this unit was originally purchased.
RABAUD states that its equipment is manufactured in France and that original replacement parts are supported for at least 10 years.
Knuckle-Boom Grapple Loader
Equipped With Hydraulic Knuckle-Boom Grapple Loader
One of the major advantages of this particular machine is its integrated hydraulic loading crane and grapple.
Instead of requiring an operator to manually position large rounds, the crane can pick up heavy logs and place them directly into the splitter's V-shaped channel.
This machine has the upgraded longer knuckle boom with an extendable boom, providing additional loading reach compared with the basic configuration.
The machine can be operated using hydraulic controls and is equipped for remote-control operation.
RABAUD specifically designed its optional forestry crane system to load large timber directly into the F80 splitting channel.

The grid height is hydraulically adjustable using two cylinders, allowing the operator to center the grid relative to the diameter of the log.
That means one hydraulic stroke can turn a large round into dozens of pieces of firewood.
RABAUD currently offers the F80 with 16-, 24- and 28-way grid configurations, and confirms that the grid is both interchangeable and hydraulically height-adjustable.
